War

The skies above the small kingdom of Surajgarh Fort burned in shades of crimson not from the sunset, but from the war that had taken over the land.

Just a few miles away from Surajgarh stood the mighty Chittorgarh Forta kingdom known for its power, a kingdom that had now set its eyes on conquering everything in its path.

And tonight… Surajgarh was next.

The sound of war drums echoed through the valley. Swords clashed against each other. Horses ran wildly across the battlefield. The cries of soldiers filled the air, mixing with the smoke rising from burning walls.

Surajgarh, the kingdom that had always known peace, was now drowning in chaos. Inside the palace, Tara stood near the tall window, her fingers gripping the stone frame tightly.her heart pounded loudly in her chest her eyes searched the battlefield below.

“No…This cannot be happening…” she whispered under her breath.but it was. their soldiers were falling, their people were running and at the center stood a man who looked like destruction itself.

MAHARAJ SHAURYA RUDRA DEV SINGH .

Clad in dark armor, his sword stained with blood, he moved across the battlefield with terrifying ease. every step he took brought Surajgarh closer to its end.

Rani rushed into the room, her face pale with fear.“Rajkumari, humein yahan se chalna hoga! Abhi!”But Tara didn’t move her eyes were fixed on one person.

Her father.

The King of Surajgarh stood in the middle of the battlefield, wounded yet unshaken his sword was still in his hand , stance still strong he would not surrender even if it meant death.

“Tum nahi jeet sakta,Shaurya!” he shouted, his voice filled with arrogance.

Shaurya walked toward him, calm and steady, as if the chaos around him did not exist.Tara’s father tightened his grip on his sword.

“Tim Jeet nahi sakta, Shaurya!” her father’s voice echoed across the battlefield, strong despite the exhaustion weighing down his body.

His pride was still unshaken for a moment, silence followed.

Shaurya smiled. It wasn’t a warm smile.Nor was it victorious. It was cold, almost mocking.

“Jeet?” he repeated, his voice low, steady.

He took a slow step forward.

His sword still, but his presence is far more dangerous than any weapon.

“Jung jeetne se pehle insaaniyat jeetne padta hai.”he said quietly

Tara’s father let out a harsh laugh.

“Insaaniyat?” he scoffed.

“Rajya insaaniyat se nahi chalte taakat se chalte hain!”

Shaurya’s eyes hardened.“Taakat?” he said quietly.

“Begunah gaon jala dena taakat hai?”He took another step forward.

“Shanti sandhi todkar peeche se hamla karna taakat hai?”Tara’s father’s expression flickered but only for a second. Then he smirked.

“Rajya bachane ke liye jo zaroori ho, woh kiya jaata hai,” he said coldly.

“Log mar jaate hain… toh marne do.”Shaurya’s grip on his sword tightened.

“Aapke liye insaan ki keemat kya hai, ?” he asked, his voice dangerously calm.

“Insaan ki keemat?” Tara’s father repeated, his tone filled with contempt.

“Rajya ke saamne insaan ki koi keemat nahi hoti.”He stepped closer.his voice dropped lower.

“Jo jhukte nahi… unhe tod diya jaata hai.”A cruel smile spread across his face.

“Chahe woh gareeb ho…”

“…ya auratein.”

The air went still.

Shaurya’s eyes darkened.

“Karz ke naam par unki izzat cheen lena…” he said, his voice now sharp as steel,

“…yeh bhi rajneeti hai?”

“Kamzor log sirf istemaal ke liye hote hain,” he said.

“Unki izzat… unki zindagi… sab rajya ke neeche aata hai.”Something shifted.

Shaurya took one final step forward.

“Tumne insaaniyat ko janwaron se bhi neecha gira diya hai… aaj uska hisaab hoga.”

The next second, steel clashed with a force that echoed across the battlefield. The fight was brutal, but brief Tara’s father attacked with wild, desperate strength, each strike filled with anger and pride, yet Shaurya moved differently… calm, controlled, precise.

Every blow was calculated, every step deliberate. One strike came he blocked it. Another followed he dodged it effortlessly. And then, in a moment that felt like time itself had stopped, Shaurya moved. A single, sharp motion.

His sword flashed through the air, and before the world could even breathe everything ended.

In one final stroke, he severed his head, leaving silence to fall heavier than the war itself.

The wind had stopped.the body collapsed to the ground with a dull thud and the crown rolled away, sinking slightly into the blood soaked earth and just like that

A kingdom lost its king.

Shaurya stood there, unmoving his sword still in his hand blood dripping slowly from its edge his expression did not change.

No victory.

No pride.

No regret.

Only cold finality.

Around him, his soldiers lowered their weapons some in relief, some in awe because they had just witnessed it the fall of a king who ruled without mercy.

Shaurya slowly lifted his gaze not toward his army not toward the battlefield but toward the fort.

“Yeh yudh samaapt hua,” his voice rang across the battlefield, firm and absolute.

“Surajgarh ab humare adhikar mein hai.”

The gates of Surajgarh opened slowly—

not in pride…

but in defeat.

The sound echoed through the silent kingdom as Maharaj Shaurya Rudra Dev entered, his army following behind him.

The palace stood still servants lowered their gazes soldiers stepped aside fear had already taken over the kingdom.

Shaurya walked through the grand corridors as if he already owned every inch of it.

His expression remained unchanged.

“Rajkumari ko bulaya jaye,” he ordered and within few minutes the large doors opened.

Tara stepped inside dressed in white and golden lehenga her dupatta rested over her head covering her face but the fabric was tick enough to see her

Her emerald green eyes where swollen , her face pale she was looking nothing less than a moon

Shaurya was not able to take his off from her and just when she lifted her eyes to met his for a second his expression’s changed for a movement almost shocked

Because standing before him was not just a princess whom he is taking her with him as prize but

It was her.

But the moment passed as quickly as it came but the next moment he announced something which shocked every who were sitting the hall.

“Kal subah, Surajgarh ki Rajkumari se hamara vivah hoga.”
